I had a problem with burning excessive oil over 2qts low in 1500mi. They started with changing the head as it was an early production model, to the newer redesigned head. That didn't fix the problem, they did about 4 more things to try and correct the problem and none of them worked finaly they gave me a new engine.
Problem solved I have almost 21,000 mi on it.
