I totally agree that there is other life out there - very naive not to in my opinion. But have they visited us - that is a different question.
If I had developed propulsion systems that were capable of travelling through hundreds / thousands of light years of space would I turn up on a new planet and show it off by anally probing some unsuspecting cabbage farmer (called Billy Bob) in Idaho - I doubt it.

Putting that into perspective - thats like me suggesting, after a few too many beers, that we walk to China and prod someone in the ass and then come straight back. I dont know about the rest of you but I would probably take in some sights, visit a few restraunts and bars, pick up some souvenirs etc. It would be a hell of a walk to China and back just to mysteriously probe a half crazed rice farmer.
