Pheasant season opened end of October first of November, rifle season is open now, we were hunting in southeast Nebraska, Jefferson county. I wish that was my backyard I live in a one bedroom apt. in Houston, Tx. my boys look alike cause they're father and son. Tim, If it helps, I leave the end of this month to hunt pheasants north of Amarillo for two days then cut across to the Tucson, Az area to quail hunt three days before heading home and getting ready for a west Texas quail hunt in Jan.
