But seriously though when I had my basement finished and even had a contract with the guy I still got threatened with 3 liens from the electrician, plumber, and concrete guys for the guy I contracted failing to pay them even though I had already paid for job.
Very tricky situation where unfortunately you can be screwed royaly.
