I agree, if given the chance and you have the forewarning, use a bow with a nice broadhead (razor blades) to shoot an intruder. It doesnt matter where you hit him in the body he will most certianly bleed out and die within minutes. A broadhead slides through a body like a knife through hot butter and there is no amount of bandaids and stiches that can save something after being shot by one.

On the other hand, if you dont have time, grab the shotgun
