The '07 got an upgrade to 3.7 liters from the 3.5 in the '06. I don't know the specific performance numbers. I have added exhaust and a K&N filter to my '06 and it pepped it up a bit. With either engine your not going to win too many races, but it is good enough for all the situations I've had it in!!
I really like my '06. I got a GREAT deal on mine which played a big part in my decision to buy. If the price is right and you like it...I say go for it!!
