He had issues with the hatch cover which had to be fixed several times, and the bed itself was not all that big to be really usable to haul things.
When I need to haul large items, I just use my utility trailer.
The 08 is a much better machine IMHO due to the improved drivetrain and the improved interior. Many say the interior isnt as rugged as before, but I appreciate the upgraded luxury and comfort of it as compared to my 06 SUV that I had.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm between the '07 (I like the interior more) and the '08. But the '07's I'm finding now have early '06 build dates, which means they have been sitting around on the lots for awhile. We'd use the H2 as a daily driver without any need to haul things (other than ourselves ..
) Any off-roading would done in a dealer loaner or a friends Hummer. I like the look of the SUT, but know that the '08 would be more practical.
