After reading up on them, I determined for my application the red one was the way to go.
The yellow one is designed to be discharged almost to zero and then charged back up again.
I don't have a monster stereo system and I don't run the winch with the engine shut down.
The red one (with 1000 cranking amps) should do just fine.
