I went ahead and ordered the interface (I have a similar one in my Z06) and it greatly improved the quality and range of sound, the interface is completely plug and play.

Thanks! Is this the same interface PAC makes which you can use with your IPOD? I had this installed, but later removed because it was giving occasional background noise. Not sure if it is the same exact device, Do you have a link?
