You can put a 2x4 on each side of the tire and measue the distance, or you can used weighted string or however else you want to measure; results should be the same. They are actually 12.50-12.75 not 13.50 which is why im getting some $$$ from Tire Rack as their specs are wrong.

If you don't mind me asking, what rim/tire combo are you running now? I've ordered 35x13.5x20 Micky Thompsons. Curious if I've chosen correctly.
