Similar...a little. True Flow makes a good filter, and I do like their H3 Kits.
However, they left some power on the table by using reducing couplers, only a 3" pipe, worm gear clamps, and did not do anything to improve performance by addressing the small diameter stock inlet snorkel through the inner fender to the air filter box on the 06/07 H3.
AirDocintakes are 3.5" in diameter, so are the couplers, we use SS T Bolt clamps (made in the USA) for overkill in the seal department
, and removed the factory intake snorkel replacing it with a much larger diameter flexible snorkel that seals to the inner fender pulling cool air from outside the underhood heated engine compartment.
There have also been some complaints about vibration noise with the True Flow kit which the AirDoc has eliminated. Similar? Yes, but we feel ours is superior, priced right, and allows you to use whatever filter you want.
