Intake Question
I was wondering if there was a difference between getting a K&N intake kit or just taking off the top part off the stock intake box and putting a K&N filter on it?
Has anyone tried it?
Does anyone know anything about the sound and the difference between the two?
I have the top part of my intake box off, and it has the sound of an aftermarket intake (throaty intake sound).
I like the sound, and was wondering if the K&N would be louder and if there would be more power than just having the top airbox part off.
