Default Re: it it it it is Sunday !

Today has been a bizarre Sunday.

Hubby is off in Joisey for his brother's wedding (yes, the one who lived in his parents basement and has a mullet. He finally met some chick online). I woke up this morning to find 2 dogs with faces full of quills. Of course the vet charges extra for off-hours, but since they're eating and drinking fine he said I could wait until Monday. Which means I still have to somehow get 2 50 lb dogs full of porcupine into a truck with a 6" lift, while handling the baby (toddler is at preschool, thankfully). Not going to be pleasant. I think I'll utilize the toddler's roller coaster track as a ramp so at least I won't have to touch the dogs much.

Baby is teething and was quiet for a whole 3 mins this morning. During which time the toddler acted up. I really considered the Baby Moses law for a bit.

Finally got to shower around 11 AM (at which time the morning paper FINALLY arrived) and my relatively new glasses broke. Lovely.

During all this fun, hubby is likely downing his 6th beer at the reception right now. But I would still rather have this Sunday, at home - otherwise it'd mean I'd have to deal with his demonic mother from Hell at the wedding. No thanks, give me spiked dogs and screaming babies any day over that b*tch.

They're coming to visit in a few weeks....oh joy. Oh joy.
