My other thought is that the Throttle positioning sensor could be faulty, and my final thought is that the ECU I belive controls the rpm at idle and if you have a new ECU or new programmer hooked up to the car it could have changed the Idle RPM. Mine will also idle around 600 rpm and when cold will sometimes run choppy and drop to 400 but I belive it is a big part because of wires and plugs. I am at 88,888 miles!

It has about 68,000 miles on it...i"m thinking throttle position sensor as well. however, i drove it again last night and it seemed to be fine with no problems...i'm going to clean the MAF sensor one more time and clean my air filter today and see what it does after that.
