BS!!! You can was synthetic at anytime regardless of the myths out there. I install it between 500 and 1000 miles on all my new vehicles. I just built a big bore stroker Harley V-Rod and fill it with Amsoil synthetic before it was even in the frame. I have yet to have to add any oil and it is making excellent HP.
