Default Re: W.T.B. OEM REAR BUMPER

I used a aftermarket Curt hitch ,it works well and not to bad for clearance(I have steps they limit my wheeling more then the hitch.)
I put a skidplate hitch cover on it(rammer) I also mounted the 7 prong plug upwards so it doesnt get damaged.

It tows a 4,000 lb camper (loaded with H2O)great
I used a 2 inch drop receiver
You would need a 4 inch or so drop for factory hitch.

If you dont have the factory tow package you only have 4 wires tucked above rear bumper ,you would need to add a brake wire from your brake controller ,a positive wire direct from battary and a reverse wire for a 7 prong plug.(Im not sure why you need a reverse wire? maybee some trailers have reverse lights ?)
