I agree RYD if we are going to work for a practical wage and save the country we at least deserve 1st class air fare as well as a furnished Hummer of our choice so we can have office in the rig. We need something that can carry all the heavy files and still get us to any location we need to get to. We would at least not be having an office we are not at because we are out doing our job for our countrymen. We can have all phones, faxs, etc. with us at all times. I have always tried to have everything I could with me to be more efficient and get job done.

When farming I was the first farmer I knew of that had a cell phone in my tractor around 1983 maybe 1984 when they had almost no range and looked like a CB radio. Keep in mind this is rural Arkansas and we use to say what ever was a fad on east or west coast would get to us 1 or 2 years later, which was not all bad! You picked up mic with keypad on it and punched in phone numbers. I had mine setup with ant. on all equip. so I could move the monster with me. Then I got a phone bag next year and thought I was in heaven that year. Next came the brick phone which I learned I had to buy extra battery that stayed on charger while I ran other down. I still thought I had made a leap to the moon. I could call for seed and fertilizer delivered never stopping the turning of the soil.

Years later when the crop duster got gps and we did not have to step of distance for next pass holding flags and getting soaked with chemical I just stayed amazed at agri tech. advancements. The next thing I know I can actually talk directly to the pilot while I stood off watching to make sure he was over correct field.

So I think You and I could set an example with mobile office and still save tax payers tons of money. Hey even if the mobile offices had to be hauled to next location like NASCAR does the stock cars it still would be saving money versus the $10,000's of thousands of dollar a month leases cost just because the gov. is paying the bill. You know what I mean You are even sharper than me, Your underling, to have figured this out.

Well still will be waiting on phone call or PM when you need me to start even if it is not gov. but, in private sector. We can go and be the car maker Czar and right hand man that I would be happy as well as proud to be part of a no nonsense team for You.
