Default Re: Can An H3 Go Thru Two Feet Of Urban Flood Waters..??

I did two feet plus in my H3 just outside of Dillon during the great Colorado storm of July 2005 when they shut down I70. It's a great feeling! That's when Fstop told me about it being a good idea to raise the vent tube on my automatic transmission, since it's the lowest vent that can get water in it on the '06 H3. I got a little carried away in Osage Creek one year in deep water, and no problems until I stopped and found the starter was wet. Got a little water on the floor from that one. Sat for a while and it started right up.
