Default Is there really a Chinese Hummer in the future?

The only good thing that could happen with this is returning part of Hummer H2 ownership and decision making to AM General. Too many American products are becoming property of foreign ownership.

A spokesperson from AM General told NewsCenter 16 today that reports of a deal with a Chinese company for the Hummer brand are not true.
Yesterday Motor Trend, one of the leading auto publications, and the Beijing newspaper Jinghua reported that China’s Chengfeng Motor Company was in talks with AM General over a possible joint purchase of the Hummer brand.
Today, a spokesperson from AM General said there is no such agreement and to his knowlege talks are not ongoing with their company.
Chengfeng originally expressed interest in acquiring the Hummer brand from General Motors back in http://www.wndu.com/localnews/headlines/36251414.html March.
