I should have clarified. You don't HAVE to upgrade the trans. I sold my H2 with 112K miles on it and over 60K of that was with a supercharger running 6lbs of boost.
It's not that you have to but it is recommended. When you install a supercharger, one of the things that typically gets changed in the transmission programming is torque management. That typically shortens the life of the transmission. (so they say, mine was stock other than removing torque management and I never had any problems)
Anyway, I would count on at some point having to do some tranny beefing up.
