Nothing roars like the Sport. Mine had the pinging too - eventually turned into bad baffles after only 2 years. I replaced it with a Magnaflow and altho I miss the sound of the Corsa, at least I'm not getting freakish stares at traffic lights from the noise coming from my exhaust.
