Default Re: New here.... buying advice for 03 H2

I paid 25K for an 04 H2 with 27K miles on it a few months ago. This is my 2nd H2 (first was an 03) and I have had almost no problems, the biggest problem I had was broken windshields and of course they are a pain to park, fit in the garage or carwash but I can deal with that. An 03 should sell for around 18-22K depending on mileage. Common problems include ignition switch, power steering pump, mirrors, but those problems should have already surfaced on a truck that old. I just had to put a battery, hood cables, and an ignition switch in mine but I think that is acceptable for a truck that will be 6 years old.

The H2 is built under contract by AM General at a specially constructed plant in Mishawaka, Indiana, USA. Although it shares GM's GMT820 truck platform with the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon, those vehicles differ in many ways and are constructed in three other GM plants.
