You might want to check the knobs/bolts once in a while or they might seize up. Might even want to put a little Never Seize or the like on them.
I found out the hard way and had three out of four "knobs/bolts" break off when I went to remove the steps a month or so ago.
Steel and aluminum do not mix well with Ohio winters. Had to drill the broken bolts out of the steps and replaced the bolts with regular hex head cap screws (allen heads) and then drill the hole though the side of the bolt for that clip.
