and the yellow is some sort of common ground i assume, two yellows spliced together about 8 inches from plug.
Seller told me it came from 08 truck, not sure if its true, or not but either way mirror was made in 07, anyone have schematics that match the wire colors i have, im ripping my hair out, thank you

Did you ever manage to wire the 08 mirrors to your 03 ? I spent some time on mine yesterday ,didn't install yet, but I believe I've figured them out as far as wire color changes. A few simple differences such as , heater wires -08=BK & BK, 03=OG & BK. Fold motor- 08=Gray & Brn , 03=lt.Blu & YEL. And, Yellow turns into white this is a common split spliced to the morror adjust and to the fold. I took the mirror apart ti trace and match all the wires ,then it made sense .athen I spliced my 03 plugs to the 08 mirrors. Harry.
