The other problem is the silver area around the inside door handles is worn off.

Not trying to hijack the thread but I've looked at 3 so far and only one didn't have interior issues and he wont budge on price.

Actually, that's kind of unusual.
Usually H2 owners take care of their vehicles more so than a soccermom in a minivan or SUV.
Anyway, replacing carpet shouldn't be a big deal but I'll bet you're getting in the 1200-1500 range. ...point is, I'd check with a local upholstery shop (unless you plan on doing it yourself.) just to be on the safe side.
