We also got top end book value for our trade (2006 Luxury edition with every option except rear entertainment) so I feel really good about the deal we made, the H2 is technically my wifes car and she is happy (which in turn makes my life easier  )
Be patient and find yourself the right vehicle, I have found its better to spend a few extra dollars and buy a nice car rather than troll the bottom of the price range for what your shopping for, you may have to attempt to negotiate a few deals but eventually you will find the right one. Nothing wrong with wanting to get a good deal but at the same time be realistic on what needs to be paid.

Thanks for the information and your story matches what I am finding. Some optimistic sellers with prices higher than the range that you quoted. I have a lead on a black one with 37K miles, but am concerned that that is too many miles for a 2008 (actually the wife is concerned). I have not found any certified pre owned 2008s. Good pick up on that one.
