I believe the stock size tires are just a tad shy of 35" (something like 34.7-34.8") so you should have no clearance issues over the equivilant of 1/4 of an inch difference.
As for tires you really need to consider the conditions you will be driving in, if your mostly "on road" then the Mud Terrains may not be the best choice as they will be noisy and likely wear quicker than the A/T's, mud tires are not usually the best in the snow either (if you live somewhere that gets snow/ice). Not sure if they make it in the size you are planning to purchase but I would also look at the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac..... I have talked to a few people who have them and read some good reviews. Bottom line is to buy the right tire for your intended driving purpose.
