Too much traction when the locker is not needed, that's how you'll break stuff. With all the traction you have at Moab with those tires you rarely need to use the rear locker. In fact you can run many of the trails in 4Hi Open and only switch to 4Lo for the tougher obstacles.
FWIW I never use a rear locker when turning (apart from in bad mud), doesn't do the vehicle any good. Same goes for the front, it is usually only on for a few seconds, then straight off again. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I am always on/off with the rear locker. I try to never have it on if the truck is turning unless it's just absolutely necessary.
