Just cranking the torque bars will put the ball joints of the upper control arms in an incorrect position/angle and speed their wear. The leveling kits available, such as the UCAK00001 from Cognito, rectify this issue.

Please see the above post for a link to a running thread that deals with steering upgrades but also touches on the parts needed to really beef-up the front end suspension and steering while leveling out the factory rake.
