Looks like ass. It does not suprise me the owner of asanti would do that. I bought a vet with asanti wheels, 1 year old wheels and the chrome was cracking and flaking. Yes, I have the pictures... they did not care, they had the cash and ran.
He needs bigger wheels than that to roll through the sh*t that company makes without getting any his shoes.
