Default Loose Sunroof

I did a search for this, but most of the info seems old. At highway speeds, I noticed my sunroof was a bit noisy. Took it to the "dealer", and they showed me that if you push on it, it will actually move up and down about 1/4".

They then informed me that it's about $1,000 to fix. The sunroof frame is $700, and then labor on top. In addition, they would have to remove my windshield, as my truck is a SUT, because the only way to remove/install the frame is through the front.

Are there any easier fixes for this? They said I'd have about 6 months before it got really bad, depending how much I use it. Not ready to shell out that kind of cash right now for a sunroof...

Thanks,

Charles
