Nothing bad against the BFG's and I have to say that I had 77000 miles on them and they still had tread. Just wanted that more aggressive look. They are rated really good in snow and mud, and I have to say very quiet on the street.
Last couple years have been great for snow here in South Jersey, so having these tires are a plus and they handle the sand well so thats another plus.

Oh i know exactly what you mean! I live In maryland and im shopping around for some good tires for rain and snow also. I was looking into Nittos and tirerack also offered Yokohama Geolander AT-S in the size im looking for but, but i know nothing about those tires. I also want something more aggressive!
