The BFG's are terrific in the snow when they are newer.... when they get down to 50-60% tread the snow traction begins to deteriorate a bit. The wide tires do tend to get the truck shoved around a bit when there is rutted deep snow on the roads..... but once again this is not much of a problem when the tires are new.
If your looking for something that is supposed to be great in the snow then check out the Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac, they have a high snow rating on them.
I got a killer deal on a set of very low mileage take off tires that only had 5,000 miles on them otherwise I was seriously considering the Dura Trac's
