Default Re: Trouble with HUMMERHUB

Ok, so here is the update on this fiasco.

Remember:
02 Feb - I place the order and I am immediately charged $16 dollars for the keychain and a ridiculous $10.71 for something that could have been put in an envelope and mailed for a dollar (but I couldnt find any place else to buy that exact key chain, so.....)

04 Feb - I get an automated email stating that the order is completed

06 Feb - I write them via the HummerHub website, since it seem there was a double order and wanted to make sure it was clear I only wanted one.

09 Feb - I write them again from their website, since I hadnt gotten an answer from my first email and I wanted to know shipping information too.

11 Feb - I write yet another email, since still none of my previous emails were responded to.

13 Feb - Now completely irate, I write another email and call the listed 1-800 number. As I stated before, I get a lawn maintenance company. I was able to track down the billing company, and stated I will be reversing charges if i do not get the order in the next two days. 2Checkout.com was great about this and very friendly. Immediately I get an email with all the info they had on HummerHub, and a forward of the email they send HummerHub stating my intent to cancel the order. Within minutes of that email, I get one from HummerHub!!! There was no apologies for anything, just the basically the tracking number. It was shipped on 09 Feb. WTF?? A whole week to ship a keychain, and with shipping coming in at a whopping 11 bucks for this. I write them back expressing how dissatisfied I was with EVERYTHING (price of shipping, customer service, delay in shipping, lack of contact and communication). They respond expressing that they didnt get any of my emails, and that it must be a glitch in the website. That might have been ok, if the very next email I received was a response to my 4th email over their website. In the email, it actually had the email I sent attached to it, so it is proof they are getting them and are full of it.

Today (15 Feb), I finally got the keychain today, 6 days after it was shipped and almost 2 weeks after it was ordered.

I could have put up with the 2 weeks it took to get here if they didnt charge out the wazoo for shipping. I could have put up with the delays, if there wa more communication. I could have put up with alot, but the way this was handled was so poor. Then they try to explain that they are a new company, and they just purchased it from someone. That would be kind of understandable, until you research HummerHub on the net and find out that since 2006 there have been many of complaints and issues involving this company.

Personally I would not recommend them to anyone and I will never buy from them again.

Sorry for my soap box
