I have the new spare ready to mount on the tire carrier. My only problem is getting it up there. It's a freaking monster and the wife can't help pick this thing up.
I was thinking about renting a crane, but that's a couple hundred bucks an hour with a minimum of three hours. I could also call an Over the Road tire company with a portable crane to help.
What about a local construction company? I could borrow a cherry picker or backhoe.
I have a neighbor with a Vette. I bet I could roll the tire down the street real fast, up his hood, to the roof and then wiggle it on the truck.
Thanks for your help. I really need this mounted soon.
BTW, I did think of using the P/U bed backed up to the H2, but not until the tire was out of the truck.
