I still have almost the same issue with my 06. I kept unhooking the negitive battery cable to get the seat to move 1/4 at a time back. No problem moving forward until i keep trying to move back and forth, then it freezes.
I also suffer from the (big ass syndrome) so now the seat is set back. (wife can't use it! lol).
Where did you unplug from and for how long?
Tech II told me horizontal seat sensor. I'm trying not to hit the dealer yet.
