We got a note from our daughters school saying that if our children participated in protests it would NOT be an excused absense. It went on to say that if any protests broke out on school grounds that school staff would not be responsible for the safety of any children participating.
I would seriously doubt her school has any illegals, but if they do, it's not many. I love that the district is taking a stand against it.
Funny sidenote: Somehow my daughter got it in her head that WE are illegal!?!?
6th generation americans with family roots traced back to England and a few from Ireland. Makes you wonder what they are taught in school. She's in 3rd grade and they are requiring she learn spanish basics so that she can cope in the coming society.
