I used a product called "forever black". I am pretty happy with it. 6 months, park outside and in the mud all the time. I followed the instructions and did 3-4 coats.

I will add, I took off the bumper covers and flares when I did it. The stuff does stick to paint like dried car wax. It does come off however.
