Default Re: H2 JL Stealth Enclosure

I would agree. The stock system for my old ears works very well.

There are those out there that seem to prefer a more "enhanced" bass. You know the kind..... windows rattling, vehicle shaking, with all the sounds of an oncoming freight train or an impending earthquake! The attractive thing about this specific speaker is that it was specifically designed for the H2 back in the day.

Conversely, Rockford Fosgate tried to out do JL Audio by designing a system (a built in subwoffer/amp combo) that was "plug-n-play" that fit under the second row seat on the drivers side. It also came with a set of door speakers for the midrange. It originally was way overpriced but overtime and lackluster sales, it dropped. The comments posted about that system was average at best. They seemed to like the plug-n-play with no splicing or cutting but the system seemed to lack the real power it needed to punch out the real bass tones. I believe the loss of use of the seat was also a big factor. http://www.somo.com/H2-150W-Rockford...gmfsuvp10b.htm
