Default quiet at last!
I pulled of the side pillar trim and sealed the windshield with some silicone and man all the irritating popping noise is gone! I know I read that on the forum before but I can't believe it was so simple to fix. It has been getting worse and worse over the last year ever since I had the windshield replaced. I guess now I will keep it another 140K.
