My dad and I made it through the day without gettin tapped on the shoulder(fired). hope i'm lucky again tomorrow. I saw a co-worker being escorted out and heard of a few more that were asked to leave. Some were friends . I hope they do ok. this really sucks

The same thing happened to me when So Cal Edison deregulated. Lots of layoffs and people asked to leave. Funny thing, they kept me long enough to re-train the the older guys they brought down to do my job and let me go a few days before I would be entilted to any sort of retirement. Then they had the balls to ask me to come back 2 years later. Not too cool. Anyway, hope all goes well for you guys involved.
