H2_SUT_SC:
The lift is a 6.5" lift from Full Throttle Suspension----then tweaked up to 8" using new torsion bar keys. I know the guys at FTS well so let me know if you are interested. The tires add another 3 inches of lift. My H2 is 36" from ground to the door sill.
The wheels are 18 X 10--they are available in 12" width but the offset does not work well on the H2--I could have used spacers but them the tires would stick out disproportionatly.
I am a nut about lifts/tires/wheels so PM me if you want more info. I build these rigs for show but they ride like stock. Certainly with a higher center of gravity, they do not handle as well, but new sway bars will surpise folks on how well it does handle. It is in the tweaking of the keys for lift, a great front end mechanic and adjustment of the sway bars that do the trick. Fifteen & an half inches of soft rubber really makes the stearing nible--something I am still getting used to.
Here is my mug shot on a 20" lift with 49" tires built by FTS-I am 5' 11" and it is a bitch to get into--obviously can't use it much but their 6.5, 9, and 12 inch kits work for everyday. The 6.5 tweaked or the 9 work better at shows because some people will actually install them
Their kits void your powertrain warranty---but it reality, all lift kits will get a hassle from a dealer if you blow something.
