If you look under your truck, you will see 2 crossmembers. A crossmember is a part of the frame that bolts from one frame rail to the other. Ther rear one, is at the rear of the transmission. The front one is under the rear of the engine. It is partially covered by the skid plates, but you can see the bolts for it without pulling the skid plates. Check those bolts. if you hear them pop as you're tightening them, then they weren't tight enough.
