Apparently this "coral tree" would inadvertantly crack & drop branches for no reason. Man, when that big branch first split, the *CRACK!* sounded just like a gunshot!
The branches were crashing (slow-mo, loudly-popping, rustling -- real weird) over the old retaining wall where there's a 10' drop to my neighbor's lawn below.
So I called the HERO
back to duty, and with some strap, dragged those branches over to my side of the wall, and just waited for the branch to break more until the leaves dragged on the lawn & stopped moving:
