Almost all domestic American cars have their A/C system (not including the compressor) on the passenger side of the firewall, with the heater core on the other side of the firewall (inside, behind the dash). There is usually a small hole in the firewall, or a drain hose coming from there that allows the condensation created by the air conditioning system to drain. It's perfectly normal. You will notice that as it gets hotter, and as you turn the AC colder (working it harder), it will drain more and more because it will be condensating more from the increased heat.

I have seen those drain holes/hoses get clogged with leaves or other debris and then they fill up and leak inside the car or cause mist to blow out of the vents.
