If you can, let the dealer do it. When it comes to messing around with the skid plates, I don't trust an 18 or 19 year old in a quickie lube shop. It's just not worth the added convenience. Something getting screwed up is far more likely at a lube shop than the dealership.

A Hummer dealer knows his way around the underside of the H3 and they'll reset the oil life computer.
