for a tire to be somewhat decent in snow, it needs to have some siping in the treads. Swampers don't.

Bias ply tires in the cold get "square" until they warm up which if its really cold out can take awhile.

They are really difficult to balance and get out of balance easily.

If you want InterCos, try the SSR as its a radial and made much better.
