</div></BLOCKQUOTE>No, you are right. Phil had asked before if anyone knew offhand about how much so he would know how much to buy. I looked it up and it said 4 pints. He filled it and it took more. Now this thread pops up and I look again only for an '04 model and it said something different. It's just an approximation from GM so you will know about how much but the amount shouldn't change by a pint and a half unless there was something different from one model year to the next.
On DH's he doesn't even have the fill/check hole. So, a novice might try to fill through the breather hole and would obviously over fill.
