Hi,
These are two apparently unrelated things:
1. I suddenly got a weird crack in the windshield. It's a perfectly round 3" wide circle. Not sure how a rock can do that, since a rock should have a central impact point.
2. I started hearing an annoying noise from the top of the windshield at high speeds... The dealer says that the surrounding rubber is unsealed in a small place, and they must redo it, but better after I replace the windshield.

Now... Is it possible that because the windshield was not properly mounted/sealed, it vibrated, and this internal vibration caused it to crack? (since it's hit straight-on by the wind)

I'm asking because in this case I should have them replace the windshield under the warranty. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Regards,
Chris
