guess you havent checked out the c6 you just need the fob in your pocket . it sends an electrical signal thru your body to door handle and unlocks to your touch - key in pocket push the start button
most gm vehicles have done away with all but drivers door tumbler . gm has done this for quite a while my 2k hardtop only has driver tumbler push unlock once drivers door opens twice for pass third time trunk pops . you can also push trunk on fob.
